Single Study Module Part 1-4
Environment and the Human System
Environment and the Human System Part 1-4
This four-part module offers a comprehensive exploration of how we perceive and respond to our environment. Delve into the biology of perception, epigenetics, and real-world dynamics shaping human behavior. Master the interactive connections between internal systems and the external world to help clients achieve physical and emotional robustness, empowering them to control their futures.

Module Introduction
by Ken Ware
How we subjectively perceive our environment is how we will respond to it.
The next 4 modules on Environment cover essential learnings before reaching the NPT exercises and programs, and the more advanced topics remaining in the Neurotrician Certificate.
This is possibly the most complex and challenging of all the modules in the Neurotrician course so far.
It encompasses and ties together so much of what you have already learned, enabling you to acquire a more in-depth understanding of the influences of environmental and perceptual variables such as real-world dynamics, our subjective experiences of the real-world environment, the biology of perception and beliefs, genetics, and epigenetics.
Also, human behavior, individual differences, how we sense the environment (immediately outside of our bodies; at a distance from our bodies; as well as from inside our bodies), our sense of self and others, and illusions.
As well as examining what happens when things go wrong.
I must add that I loved every minute preparing this module, as it really is the strength, within the strength, of the neurotricians’ knowledge base.
It lays a reliable foundation for more complex education structures to be built upon, for those of you who wish to become a certified Neurotricionist.

As a practicing Neurotrician, this knowledge will provide you with much greater opportunities to really assist your clients to enhance their physical and emotional selves, as well as dramatically enhance their performance goals and objectives via your enriched understanding of how human beings interact with their environment – the good, the bad and the indifferent.
Along with your ever-evolving ability to assist your clients to calibrate all of their environmental attunement dials, you will enable them to become physically and emotionally robust and much less permeable to environmental perturbations. In other words, to really feel like they are in control of their physical and emotional futures.
Control is really what every ‘help-seeking’ person in the world is looking for. Regardless of how they perceive and describe their needs, what their current strategies or protocols are, how they presently physically/emotionally/mentally exercise, and irrespective of what various modalities of exercise and healing they may have previously adopted.
Unfortunately, there is so much misinformation available to the consumer out there. A wide host of metaphysical concepts that lack rigorous scientific validation and data, which, when put into practice, may very well be taking the person further and further away from accomplishing what they truly desire, which, inevitably, is that they simply really need to feel that they are in control.
Nature uses some very fundamental and simple rules, which govern the motion of the universe and the physical world we live in. It does this via complex adaptive systems (CAS’s), in particular biological systems, which cannot be violated. Yes, these rules can be modulated, in the case of adaptations and the evolution of CAS’s, but not unwisely violated.
In this module you will further consolidate your knowledge of what these rules are. This will provide you with the objective measuring tools to be able to assess the true values of all strategies/protocols, as well as enabling you to advise your clients accurately on the benefits of, or lack of, any strategies or protocols that they may have chosen or potentially plan to embrace.
Finally, there will be a lot of referencing and crosstalk from the previous modules, and certain statements will need to be repeated in order to add contrast to what is being discussed in this module.
This form of repeated stimulus helps reinforce vital points, even when referred to in different settings.
What Students Say
Listen to Tim Farley, World Class Tricker and NeuroPhysics Therapy Student.
Part 1: Environment and the Human System
This module teaches the interactive connections and communication processes between the human system and its various environments. It emphasizes the 24/7 role of our perceptions in determining how our physiological and emotional-cognitive systems understand and react to our inner and outer environments, including people

What you will learn
- You will practice systematic ways to think about and analyse how perceptions develop and how they affect our brain/body systems in healthy and unhealthy ways.
- You will be able to use this knowledge to consider its implications for the kinds of observational skills required of Ken Ware NeuroPhysics Therapy therapists.
- This module lays important foundations to grasp why Ken Ware NeuroPhysics Therapy, delivered correctly, demonstrates whole-system benefits to everyone who uses its programs.
Key learning objectives
- Identify the roles played by human perception systems in general and in the Ken Ware NeuroPhysics Therapy context.
- Explain why Ken Ware NeuroPhysics Therapy pays attention to both internal and external environments.
- Explain why Ken Ware NeuroPhysics Therapy pays attention to objective and subjective realities.
- Use learning from the module to list and explain personal processes of major changes in perception and related behaviours. Click the image to listen to the module’s orientation.
- Use these concepts to analyse situations holistically to understand health, dis-ease, and Ken Ware NeuroPhysics Therapy methods.

What you will learn
- It teaches how our brain/body systems handle the massive amounts of information they are processing 24/7.
- It focuses on how our systems cope in healthy and unhealthy ways with modern life’s often-chronic state of internal and external sensory overload.
- You will learn how and why our systems treat the stimulus of incoming information in a variety of ways, some healthy that stimulate growth, while some are unhealthy that create protection.
- You will learn the implications of our systems having “speed limits” for integrating important information.
- You will learn how Ken Ware NeuroPhysics Therapy addresses those issues as well as imbalances of left-right brain hemispheres that affect brain/body health, and how it treats both healthy and unhealthy forms of system robustness.
Key learning objectives
- Explain habituation and how perceptions of the environment connect with it.
- Describe healthy and unhealthy forms of robust systems and Ken Ware NeuroPhysics Therapy approaches to them.
- Explain physiological and psychological mechanisms for controlling sensory stimulation.
- Analyse situations holistically, using the module’s concepts and system understandings.
- Explain how a person’s system arrived at a specific state and how Ken Ware NeuroPhysics Therapy can address that state.
