Module Introduction

NPT Synthesis — Integrating the Whole by Ken Ware

At this point in your journey, you have developed a comprehensive understanding of the six pillars of optimal health within NeuroPhysics Treatment (NPT): Posture, Emotions, Environment, Exercise, Ageing, and Eating.

You now understand not only what these pillars represent—but why they matter, and how they interact to influence the future health and wellbeing of those you work with.

But this is not the end. This is where it all comes together.

Going Further

In this module, we go deeper—beyond individual systems, beyond isolated disciplines—into what could be described as a unifying framework for understanding human function. A perspective that is largely missing across many domains:

  • Conventional medicine
  • Alternative therapies
  • Behavioural sciences
  • Even many metaphysical approaches

Each of these fields holds valuable insight. Yet, they often operate in isolation.

The Problem with Separation

Modern science has generated extraordinary knowledge—but much of it remains compartmentalised. Physics, biology, neuroscience, psychology, and behavioural sciences have each advanced independently. The challenge is not a lack of knowledge. It is the lack of integration.

The Origin of Integration

In 2013, the NeuroPhysics Treatment (NPT) hypothesis was introduced as an attempt to bridge these divides—bringing together insights from multiple disciplines into a shared framework. The intention was simple: To recognise that no single field holds the full answer, but that each contributes to a broader understanding of the human system.

Despite this, scientific and clinical disciplines largely remain separated—each maintaining its own boundaries and perspectives.

The NPT Synthesis

In this module, you will be introduced to the NPT Synthesis—an integrated model that connects:

  • Genetics and epigenetics
  • Neuroscience and biology
  • Psychology and behaviour
  • Physics and thermodynamics
  • Chaos theory and complexity science

This is not about replacing existing knowledge. It is about connecting it to form a coherent, functional understanding of the human system as a dynamic, adaptive whole. A system that operates across scales. A system that responds to both internal and external environments simultaneously. A system that must be understood as one.

A Journey Into Deeper Understanding

As you move through this module, you may begin to see familiar concepts in entirely new ways. You will uncover connections that are rarely discussed. Patterns that span across disciplines. And insights that reshape how you understand health, behaviour, and human potential. It is, in many ways, a journey into a world within worlds.

Where This Leads

You are now entering the final stages of your studies. One final module remains: Ethics. But the NPT Synthesis is what will bring everything you have learned into alignment. It is what allows you to:

  • Think differently
  • See more clearly
  • And work with a level of integration that sets you apart

Final Thought

This module is not just about knowledge. It is about perspective. The ability to step beyond fragmented thinking and engage with the human system as it truly is: Integrated, adaptive, and deeply interconnected. Embrace this. Because this is what will ultimately distinguish you—not just as a practitioner, but as a thinker in your field.

System Synthesis – Part 1

Accordion Content

This module has one overarching objective, which is by the time you have studied and digested it, you will be able to explain with some detail how and why the NPT programs and the NPT Eating Plan have the effects they have on the entire human system. That explanation will stand on the shoulders of you having integrated the learning from previous modules with this final module.
  1. Describe how recursions of different kinds of information flowing through the system are producing the beneficial (or detrimental) effects in the human system at all scales.
  2. Use the concept of “scale-free” with ease and apply it appropriately.
  3. Describe the dynamics of epigenetic changes and their implications in relation to NPT.
  4. Explain the connections between the grids used in NPT exercise programs and the NPT eating plan, understood “as” grids, also. This will include explaining how NPT’s notion of grids is scale free.
  5. Explain what is happening at micro to macro scales within the system and why the NPT programs and the NPT Eating Plan have the effects they have on the human system.

The estimated completion time varies by topic and by individual study styles, reading and typing speeds, and native language. Completion time estimates range from a low of perhaps 12 hours for a few of the modules, to a high of perhaps 25-30 hours, depending on the module. All modules are presented in U.S. English.

The minimum score to pass individual assignments and tests is 80%. Successful completion of a module earns a Certificate of Completion from Neurotricional Sciences Education Pty. Ltd.
